I try to select text of a mail in the preview window to copy to another program, but when I pres CTRL-V I do not get anything.
I am using Pegasus V4.72 under Windows 10.

There is a rare bug in Windows 7 that disables copy/paste, but it only affects certain applications. If you are doing this correctly, as per Brian's post, then the only other option is a reboot of your PC.
If I may barge into your discussion, the initial message mentions that Windows 10 is being used, not Windows 7.
In my own experience, admittedly only with Windows 7 and 8.1 and with Pegasus Mail versions 4.7 to 4.72.572, there is only one way for <Ctrl>+C and <Ctrl> +V to work is for the message in PM to be viewed in Plain Text before doing the <CTRL>+C combo.
Open a message as a window, click on the button "View" to be able to view it in plain text and then try to copy it.
