You can copy addressbook files from one installation of Pegasus Mail to another provided the filenames are unique. As for which files to copy, see Han's Guide to Pegasus Mail Filenames and Extensions. Find it here: http://www.vandenbogaerde.net/pegasusmail/pf_pmfiles.htm.
If you need to determine the content of an addressbook file you can view it with a text editor.

Thanks Brian. That link doesn't work, unfortunately. Also not sure what you mean by 'provided the filenames are unique'. I've already installed V4.7 and started to build address books. Are you saying that this copying process won't work if there are duplicates? Seems impractical to sift through hundreds, if not thousands, of addresses to find duplicates. It is also a bit laborious to sift through a very long list of filename descriptions and extensions to find ones that look necessary to copy over. I was hoping to find someone who has done this before and can tell me what few file types are needed.
