That's strange Shades that your group, also on RootsWeb, doesn't have this problem.
This is a personal email I received from the group's administrator about the problem:
"When replying to a list message you must ensure that your email is being prepared in Plain Text. The size greatly increases when it is in HTML format.
"You might be getting away with HTML format for small messages that you create because RootsWeb do use a converter program to remove the HTML and reduce the size, usually by about 80%.
"However, the size of the message is checked before doing the conversion, not afterwards. So always use Plain Text."
[/quote]
The message suggests that messages aren't rejected because they are HTML but because of their size. Check with the administrators what the maximum size allowed is.
Are your messages particulaly big or have additions (signatures etc.) ? There is no evidence from what you have posted that you are in fact sending HTML messages.
