Message stuck in outbox?

The files will be located in the Newmail directory (c:\pmail\mail\userid) and are files like *.pmo and/or *.pnx they can be simply deleted. You might first want to view the PMO file in a utility such as Notepad so you can re-compose and send it.  I presume you have checked the  in main menu File/Reviewed queued mail

Pmail 4.70 Win 32.

Operating in 'sever' mode. (Two users over home network)

Recently we had some sort of loop involving one or more rogue files/messages which I've managed to delete albeit I'm not sure which one was the culprit. In any event, now there's one message that Pmail shows as 'Queued' but Review(ing) Queued Mail, there's nothing there. When I go to exit Pmail I get the message panel alerting to message(s) in the queue/Quit/Send & Quit/ Continue Session. It's a minor annoyance but I'd like to clear the queue. I've searched the messages in the forum, searched the FAQs but I'm either not asking the right question or this hasn't been asked before(?). Is there a specific folder or file that contains messages queued for sending I could delete or edit to clear this?

 Thanks for any advice.

Dennis

Thanks for the suggestion, Brian, however I can't locate any zero byte files in any of the mail folders. Do you know in which folder the outbound unsent messages are kept? I tried writing and queuing an outbound message then searching the mail folders for files with the extension(s) noted by date and time but even the most recent ones don't appear to be the one I composed and sent.
