Setting a default font for new messages

I want to set a default font and font size for outgoing messages. The current default is arial. I know how to change it; how do I make my new font the default value?

Open Pmail.ini in your Newmail directory and find lines:

Font to use in message reader             = Arial, 10, 0
Font to use in message editor             = Arial, 10, 0
Font to use in folder browser             = Arial, 14, 0

While a new message window is open go to Message > Font...

Whatever you specify here should stick for future messages.
