How do I Save Deleted Messages-Pegasus Mail v4.63

Hi,

I searched   'save deleted messages' with no luck.

Peg will save until I close program.  What I am finding

is that the Deleted mail folder disappears sometimes.

And if I am not paying attention, I would delete and go oops

and there is No Deleted Mail folder and no deleted messages

to recover.

Been using Peg for over 20 yrs , very happy, used to be able to

see a Deleted message folder and refer to it to recover message

deleted in the recent past.

Question:  Is there a way to tweek .ini or whatever in order to

Permantly KEEP a Delete Folder in play whether anything is in it or not???

Life used to be simple.  Maybe its me, something I am not doing right or

something Im doing wrong, either way.  This Snafu has bit me in the

gluteus maximus too many times to where I have to come in here to post

my issue.  Also found it hard to believe there is no other posts on this subject

anywhere in community or forum, am I the only one?

THANK YOU for all you do over the years, have always recommended

Pegasus to those who are looking for a quality mail client.

Look forward to replies to fix this very important issue for me.

If you use multiple identities be sure that setting and the "Preserve deleted messages until Pegasus Mail closes" setting are configured the same in all of them.

If the deleted messages was not maintained on last shut down it won't appear again until a new delete occurs.

I'm not aware of any problems with the deleted messages folder not being maintained between sessions which the lack of discussions on the subject reinforces.

Finally, make sure you aren't holding down the Crtl key when confirming a delete.  It results in a delete without a save.
