Editing an address book entry

That worked! Wish I would have known that sooner. Would have saved some grey hairs!

Does anyone else have problems editing an address book entry? I struggle mightily when trying to make the simplest change in one of the entries, phone number for instance. I bring up the entry in edit, make the change and click OK. The entry then pops up to the top of the list and the old entry still appears in the original position in the list showing the old information. I have tried several different ways to save the new information like the "Apply" button, closing and reopening Pegasus, etc. If I attempt to delete the old entry (with the new entry showing at the top of the list) it deletes both entries. Does anyone know how to do this properly so it doesn't cause me so much frustration?

Reindex the address book via its button menu (top-left).

What you describe is quite frustrating, and inconsistent. For example, you might make a change to two addressbook records but only one of them will be listed twice (one corrected, one previous).  The other one will be listed once as unchanged.  Oddly, this behavior is inconsistent between Pegasus Mail instances.  It does not occur on my office Pegasus Mail as user 1 but it does when running a second instance as user 2 as well as on the instance I run from a flash drive.  When the problem occurs, it seams to occur across all addressbooks.

Michael pointed to a reindex which is the only way I know of as well to fix the records list.
