Thank you...I sent all those .cmi files as you suggested..bingo...it worked...I am making another question now...

I just changed computers, both have Windows 7, 32 bit. On the new computer I simply transferred the entire Pmail folder, and everythng is there, but the new mail folder on the new computer won't get populated with the older computer's new messages, I believe .cnm files? The new computer has all the .cnm files, but they do not show? Please explain in easy language. Everything on new computer in Pegasus works, except I cant see former new mail messages. Thx.

In Pegasus Mail, go to the Help pull-down menu, select About Pegasus Mail...

Now click the "Info" button.  The resulting display will contain the paths where Pegasus Mail thinks the home and new mailbox directories are.  Let us know what those paths are and if they are correct.

The difference in the path to new mailbox location explains why the new mail messages aren't showing up in the new mail folder of the new install.  Those messages are .CNM files that should currently be in C:\PMAIL\MAIL.  Move them to C:\PMAIL\MAIL\ADMIN.

Once done, report back with a list of any files remaining in C:\PMAIL\MAIL.

I hope that this is a good place to ask my question.

I have had to reinstall win 7 x64 on my computer. My Pegasus mail folder containing all my messages, etc resides in a folder on my D:\ drive. Pegasus is installed on the C:\ drive in a folder called Program Files\aActive\PegMail.  When I did the installation  (version 473) I did not specify an email folder.

I click on the Pegasus icon, I am brought to the setting up mailboxes screen. I choose "Click here if there will only ever be one person reuuing Pegasis Mail on this computer."  In the next screen, I paste the fill path to the folder where all my messages reside.  I do not select any file in the folder, but just point to hte folder itself.  D:\a1data\Pegasus.

The Pegasus screen disappears, but no messages, folders, etc appear.

What am I/have I done incorrectly?

Thank you for your help.

 Peter

No, it is not. Please do not hijack threads. It causes confusion and detracts from the solution. Your best bet is to start a new question where the responses posted will be tailored to your query.
