Pegasus Mail - Setup Nightmare

I meant for you to delete or disable the current POP3 host in Pegasus Mail for mail.ictglobe.com and then create a new one to see if that resolves a problem that is not visible in the existing one.

Also, can you post the POP3 configuration settings for ictglobe.com?

Finally, does ictglobe require Open Authentication (OAuth) or any sort of secure mail key (a term AT&T uses) or application password (a term gmail uses)?

Good day, Team

I recently downloaded the latest pegasus mail v4.7 client on my windows system. I can not seem to win passed the " Host claims that either the username or password you have supplied is invalid " screen. I have setup the mail account on other third party softwares and it works :).

It is only pegasus that fails.

Please let me know

Regards

Ethan

You don't say whether the problem is associated with POP3, SMTP, or IMAP but regardless which one it is I suggest deleting the problem host file or IMAP profile and creating a new.

There is something wrong with the password.  The problem may be in the host configuration file and may not be visible.  Did you create a new POP3 host?

Hi Ethan,

could you have a look at the information at your mailprovider, which configuration you should use for connecting (Ports for POP and SMTP / TLS or SSL) -> ICTGlobe and the new provider.

Did you configure Pegasus corrsponding to this information?

I can't believe (due to your last postet log), that there is any mailprovider round the world, that allows unsecured connections to his mailhost.

bye    Olaf
