WIN 10 Problem
When selecting a Link in an email, the Link will not activate but there is a workaround but how to configure PMAIL to select HTML when opening the mail.
If the email in the INBOX when opened has the ATTACHMENT option available I select HTLM and OPEN. The selection if a LINK in the now opened email works correctly.
How do I configure PMAIL to select the HTML option when I open an email?

WIN11 Problem
I copied the PMAIL module to the WIN11 computer. Pmail opens and will download emails. When I select a email it opens with the correct headers but there is NO test in the message area.
WHAT IS MY PROBLEM.

Thank you.
JOHN

How do I configure PMAIL to select the HTML option when I open an email?

Go to main menu's Tools > Options > Message reader and enable Where a choice of formats exists, display the fancy version.

WHAT IS MY PROBLEM.

Depends on the mail message you open, not all of them provide plain text if HTML is available, and for enabling this see above.

The configurations Michael mentioned that you need to set for your preference are on these two option pages:69643e3f4f057

69643ea3a6a0e

As he inferred, no text content in the reader window may be due to a setting that only displays plain text, and the message being viewed does not contain any plain text.

Edit: BTW, when in a reader window, hitting the "v" key or clicking the "View" button in its toolbar will toggle the content between wanting to see plain text and wanting to see HTML content.

Thank you Michael and Brian.

WIN10
All the suggestions were already set. I believe all these settings were set when I first started using PMAIL years ago. What else can I do?

WIN11
Update.
Although no text appears in the email when opened, when I FORWARD the text appears. How can I get this action when I initially open the mail?

If you contact me offlist (via IERenderer's "About IERenderer ..." in its button menu) I can provide a test version of IER to you. It's got a fix which might help although I can't tell for sure.

I am curious whether changing the View fails to display the text.

I am also curious about what condition Michael hopes to have found a fix for, but I will put my patience hat on and wait for the reveal in the next release notes.

Thank you both.
I will contact Michael.
