Cannot find the name of a rogue mail message file

I have a rogue mail message which persistently appears in the OutBox as a "To Forward" message.
If deleted manually from the OutBox it will appear again next time I log in.

In order to delete the rogue message I need it's filename (*.cnm) so the I can search the mail data directory - OK.
BUT first I need to name of the file - so how do I get the filename of a required message eh? [Next upgrade: insert the name of a message file into the file, like: "Filename: PM-AYEUP123.CNM", so we only need to look at the raw file in the appropriate window to get its name.

Thanks,

Kenneth Spencer

If by "Outbox" you mean the Queue Manager, that will be a .CNM file. It will be either a .PMW, or .PMX file. There may be a corresponding .PNX file.

I suggest using a file explorer to search your home mailbox directory for files with these extensions. If found, with Pegasus Mail closed, move them to a temporary location then restart Pegasus Mail to see if the "To Forward" message is gone. You can use a text editor to look at the content of any of the moved messages before deletion if you care to.
