Old Mail access from locations

One concern I have is that it seems I have to be at my home computer to read older emails. With gmail your old email is stored in the cloud, so you can retrieve them from anywhere. Can Pegasus do that also?

Not directly. Based on your previous post, it is apparent that you are retrieving mail via POP3, in which case the best option I found is to configure Pegasus Mail to leave mail on the server and then when I traveled I would access the host server directly either with an IMAP connection or via the host web interface. FWIW, I tried both and preferred web but I'm sure that depends on the host web UI.

Something to keep in mind is that Pegasus Mail keeps track of downloaded messages which is how it identifies new messages (eg: messages not previously downloaded). That tracking system has been known to fail (rare, but not unheard of). When it does, Pegasus Mail may then download all mail in the host inbox. If the host does not have a function that automatically moves retrieved messages to a folder then it is wise to periodically connect to the host via its web interface and empty its inbox manually (I move messages to an Archive folder).
