Help! Pegasus on Linux: Letter salad on v4.80 and later?

Hi, very long time Pegasus Mail user (since 1999!). Love it!
I've moved to Linux since Win8 but taken my trusted PMail with me, and it has worked just fine under Wine till v.4.73 (included).
On v.4.80 and 4.91 all text is literally a letter salad: Usually all letters are bunched together at the start of each line, sometimes they are randomly scattered all over the window (including on menu and title bars). The default folder view and the mail subjects inside show normally, the problem only happens when reading a message, trying to write a new one, or in Help...

What has changed between 4.73 and the following versions which could create such a mess?
It has to be the part responsible for showing text both in messages and in the program's Help pages.

(FTR I did try both updates and clean installs of both 4.80 and 4.91, but finally I had to go back to 4.73 since is the last one which works.)

Thanks for reading.

The module being used in the locations you list is a third party module which has been updated several times since 4.73, but we never heard about such an issue before. Since the number of Linux users running Pegasus Mail is certainly pretty low we have no idea so far about what could be causing this. Since there's an experienced Linux user (@msetzerii) frequently participating in forum discussions he might be able and willing to look into this.

Thanks.
It's surprising, since it sounds like a pretty basic function to me (not a developer!). I don't understand how it can break that much, he must be doing something in a truly peculiar way.
Besides it must be a rather rarely used module, because I'm still using a lot of Windows programs and none of them has a similar problem (it really doesn't go unnoticed...).

For the record, Ubuntu using Wine v11 (straight, no DLL overrides).

Well, let's hope @msetzerii notices this and has a solution.
