I have this problem since Pmail V4. Whenever I retrieve mail from the host the mail is not deleted, so every time I check again for mail I receive an ever increasing number of e-mails. Before version V4 Pmail was automatically set do delete dowloaded mails.

Probably this is very simple to solve, but I cannot find a way to do it.

Can anybody tell me how to do this.

First verify that the POP3 setup is set to delete the mail once downloaded.  Then try a File | Selective mail download and checkout what is on the server.  You might have a huge file on the server that is causing the session to timeout and so the mail never gets deleted.  If this is true then try increasing the timeout setting in the SMTP setup.

You probably have not marked the "Delete mail on sever once it has been successfully retreived" which you will find in Tools/Internet options/Receiving POP3/ click EDIT on the POP3 and you will find the field at the bottom
