After moving my Pegasus Mail data folder to another drive (and running pconfig to let Pegasus know about the change) I'm having a problem retrieving mail from POP boxes that are set up in MultiPOP. Mail set up under my main identity comes in just fine, so I think it's quite odd.
When checking an account listed in MultiPOP I get an error. This occurs from any account set up in MultiPOP that has new mail. The status bar on the bottom shows "Downloading message 1 of 3..." and then a "POP3 Network or Protocol Error" appears on screen and states: "Unknown error: Pegasus Mail has no further information on this error - please consult the trace.". The message in the Trace information in the box changes slightly based on which server the account is on, two samples are listed below:
Account #1's error:
"[*] Connection established to 10.50.65.253
>> 0005 +OK
<< 0012 USER admin
>> 0005 +OK
<< 0013 PASS XXXXXX
>> 0005 +OK
<< 0006 STAT
>> 0015 +OK 12 647297
<< 0006 LIST
>> 0005 +OK"
Account #2's error:
"[*] Connection established to 10.75.154.61
>> 0059 +OK Hello there. <31058.1205162263@localhost.localdomain>
<< 0012 USER admin
>> 0024 +OK Password required.
<< 0013 PASS XXXXXX
>> 0016 +OK logged in.
<< 0006 STAT
>> 0016 +OK 216 803800
<< 0006 LIST
>> 0055 +OK POP3 clients that break here, they violate STD53."
(Note: The IP addresses in the trace errors above have been changed for privacy reasons.)
I have tried putting the mail data folder back on my main Windows drive (again running pconfig to let Pegasus know about it) and then trying again, but I get the same error.
Anybody have any ideas why this would be happening, and more importantly how I can fix this?
Not sure if it matters or not, but the drive I moved the data folder to is a network share on a Mac (drive formatted as "Mac OS Extended (Journaled)"). Perhaps something got munged with the copy?
Thanks for any help you are able to provide me with!
