Maybe a stupid question, but how is it handled? will it take the
specific settings i made on Mercury and set them on the new version, or
is it like throw evrything away and hope you'd documented evrything and
set the settings again by hand?
Takes about 30 seconds to close mercury/32, run the update program, select the upgrade option to use the new program and restart Mercury/32.
Another question about IMAP, is there a webportal built-in or is
evrybody now reading this cursing me and make a fool out of me? is it
already available?
IMAP4 is already available, the web access requires a web server and your web application of choice that uses IMAP4. Squirrel Mail, Horde and Web Mail seem to be the applications most used. I personally like Squirrel Mail since I find it easy to setup using EasyPHP.
