Get Mercury set up with IMAP running.

Add the IMAP profile to Thunderbird.

Copy mails from 'mbox' folders to IMAP folders.

I would suggest leaving them on your own Mercury IMAP server if you have a static IP (or use dyndns.org for dynamic IP).

But if you want to GIFT ALL YOUR DATA to Google, go ahead.

I have a few years worth of emails in a local 'mbox'-formatted file
(well, not 100% mbox - what Mozilla/Thunderbird thinks is mbox!)

Can I upload them to a Mercury server without losing:
 - date/time
 - attachments
 

Ultimately what I want to do is transfer the message from an mbox
on-disk to a Mercury server running IMAP and then use Google's
IMAP <-> IMAP importing capabilities.

 Any hints, suggestions?
