Don't you just hate it when isues resolve without any intervention. This has been stable now for a number of days and I can't even guess as to why.
At least it now works as designed:-)

After all these years using Pegasus, I have found a recent need to establish several identities to address different addy requirements in running websites.
My understanding in reading the help files is that parameters unique to that entity will be saved and I will be able to skip or toggle between these Identities when answering emails.
It appears to be a simple process, but my settings do not "stick" permanently. eg My return address in the General Tab (My internet address is) often reverts back to the default setting. Under the Tools-> Options-> Advanced Settings the selection box for "Allow multiple file selection..." also loses its setting.
I change, apply, save but then after several toggles between Identities, I have to reset again.

Yep, options will save for a while then revert back to the "default" identity. They will be OK for several days, then inexplicably lose their settings. As of yet, I cannot find a sequence of events where I can replicate the problem.
What system are you running? Any anti-virus? It sounds like some other piece of software is interfering with Pegasus Mail saving its configuration.

and that's about it. Nothing extraordinary running in background (back up program, Skype)
It does save the config, but after some time and switching between identities it loses the setting. So as far as I can guesstimate nothing "should" interfere with the setting as they have been saved.
