Zero byte messages from "unknown" sender

Check in the mailbox directory and see if there is a file with the extension .CNM that has been marked read-only: if there is, delete it. This should fix the problem.

Cheers!

I am a new user. Just set up 3 mail boxes today. In only one of my mail boxes I receive a zero byte message from "unknown" sender. If I delete it another appears. There are no such messages on my ISP server (att.yahoo.com). There remains one that I cannot even delete.  Any suggestions?
