Incompatibility Pegasus Mail and Copernic Desktop leads to crashes of PMail?

Utf8.tmp is the ICONV converted input file for languages. All messages are converted to UTF-8 before display.  What you are seeing is a collision between Copernicus and P.M     You need to prevent Copernicus from touching the Pegasus Mail directories.

It seems there is a conflict between PM and Copernic Desktop Search. After I had various crashes of PMail ("stopped working"-messages under Vista Ultimate) I checked for eventual access violations with Process Monitor from Sysinternals (I had a similar problem before with Bitdefender 2008).The crashes occur when previewing messages.

There was one occurrence just after a file access of ??:\users\hans\AppData\Local\Temp\utf8.tmp by Copernic DS. After I excluded the ??:\users\ from scanning by Copernic it seems the crashes of PMAIL have stopped. To be sure I also turned off the on-the-fly scanning of new files in Copernic DS.

If anybody could confirm this that would be helpfull.

I can confirm that Pegasus Mail is incompatible with anything other than Pegasus Mail trying to grab it's files for any reason.
