I've been trying to figure this out for awhile now, but I just can't seem to get it. What I need to do is search through multiple folders, let's say by subject, to find all e-mails from a newsletter. I want to delete these, as they have little value now, but I don't want to do it by hand simply going through each folder and sorting by subject or who its from. Yet, when I search for the newsletters and try and delete them from search, they don't delete.

What am I doing wrong?

When doing a search you can do a delete of the message in the search folder AND the original message through the use of SHIFT+Delete (IIRC).
