Thanks Thomas for your help. I did check the via STARTTLS option, but still get an error message saying "
550 5.1.0 Authentication required"
Here's how I set up my SMTP:
1. Definition name = smtp,comcast.net
2. Gen. settings for sending mail via SMTP = smtp.comcast.net
3. Server TCP/IP port = 587 Timeout = 90
4. I checked via STARTTLS
5. I checked last box "Login to SMTP server using a POP3 username/password - (I selected my email address - jim@illinoisjobs.com)
Thanks again for your help.
