I wonder if the larger icons should necessarily all display an envelope. For example it seems to me obvious that the Delete and Print icons would be clearer without.
Reply could show only two persons on each side of the arrow. Forward could show two persons on the left, and a third one on the right of the arrow.
In Copy and Move on the contrary, the envelope seems perfectly relevant to me. In Digest too.
In Find, Save and Properties, it would be logically relevant, but I think a magnifying glass, a floppy disk and a blue I alone would be visually more efficient. Maybe for filter the envelope already being filtered would be sufficient.
And last, maybe a future Reply to All button could show the contrary of Forward: One person on the left of the arrow, two on the right.
