Heya,
it'd be great if images that are attached to an email and are shown in the preview pane below the attachments' listing would auto-scale to fit the pane. And yes, whilst I do understand that there are image programmes out there to do this, rather than the email programme itself, it would make life a lot easier...

Yes, it would definitely make life easier.
For example when you send photos from a digital camera, and the camera gave the photos obscure automatic names, and you want to make sure you're sending the right ones before you click on Send.
BTW, about other formats (like .doc), I would benefit from the possibility to double click and open them from the attachments selection tab, in order to make last checks or last modifications. Just as I can now from the attachments reception tab.
