sending mails using mercury as smtp server

what values do you recomend?

Neither of these are material.  A TCP/IP time out of 300 seconds in MercuryC is a good place to start.

You need the MercuryS SMTP server for Mercury to get the mail from your application and either MercuryC (Relay client) or MercuryE (End to End) SMTP Client to send the mail from Mercury to the internet.

OK, I've already done that.

on the server I've put 127.0.0.1 and my router ip adress (192.168.1.254) I can send mails to some of my mails, but I cannot send to my university mail. to send to gmail, i needed to give my server a name without that on gmail i wouldn't receive.

What could be wrong so my university mail don't receive my mails  (or reject them, i don't know!)

Probably your IP address.  Do you have a gmail account? Try sending mail through them using MercuryC .

I can't because I want to send more than 2k mails and with gmail I can only send 500 per day :s

My only recommendation then is go get a relay host that does not have a limit.  Might have to pay someone for the SMTP services.

ok, :) i've already been able to send mails to my university mail, the only problem now is that i'm getting about 50% of returing errors! maybe I'm sendint them too fast! in the smtp client the popp query has every 5s and on the core 2s. could it be the problem?

what values do you recomend?

thanks a lot for you help!
