Integrating MercuryB in a web page

Thanks.

The guy who was doing the web page tried it out last friday - I gave him the full MLSS address with the custom port number and it worked a treat.

Hi

My boss has just asked me about whether it is possible to embed Mercury's web-based mailing list manager into another web-page. I don't really know much about this, but I suspect that it is not possible. He wants to make subscribing to a mailing list as easy as possible.

The 'host' and Mercury32 are on completely different networks. I assume that as the MercuryB module resides on the same server as the installation of Mercury32 there is no way it can 'called' or embedded so that the mailing lists are displayed.

Is the best thing to include a button which links to the MercuryB MLSS service web page?

Thanks

You can achieve this by using the element <iframe src="http://yourmercuryserver/" /> in your webpage.

You can achieve this by using the element&amp;nbsp;&amp;lt;iframe src=&quot;http://yourmercuryserver/&quot; /&amp;gt; in your webpage.

Should this not be http://yourmercuryserver:port/mlss to open the page?

Thanks a lot to both of your for your replies. I'll pass the good news on.

Cheers!

Port 80 is default, if you use something else you need to state the port as mentioned.

If you don't specify mlss as the page path, MercuryB automatically redirects you to that page root.

Also note that it is the client browser that interprets the iframe request, so clients need to be able to resolve "yourmercuryserver"
