Stopping mail in pop3 queue.

I would use the MercD client for business POP accounts only, which you don't use.

For staff personal accounts they should put them in their own Pegasus profile (or use another client, or better yet, check them at home on their own time [6])

I have a mail message that keeps trying to send in my pop3 client queue.  How do I stop/delete this message?

 The message states: "invalid user name - network error; delivering anyway".  I tried to reply to a message using Pegasus and this is what happened.  Any suggestions?

Now Mercury keeps cycling on and off???  What is going on?

That looks like your pop3 client (MercD) is being rejected when trying to retrieve mail from an external POP3 account.

Turn on session logging in MercD for more info.

Thanks.  I don't know why this is even trying to connect to a POP3 account.  I haven't requested it to.  My company isn't using ISP POP mail.  The only time I'd need to download POP3 from an ISP is on an idividual basis for an employee's personal account.  Would I stll need MercD for this scenario?

If Mercury is not going to be collecting mail from POP3 accounts, then no you don't.

But if you're not using MercD, then maybe you have another problem...

OK, that IS the MercuryD POP3 client module, so you must have entered something in the config for it.

It is attempting to check for mail using the settings entered, failing, and reporting the failure.

Seems to be working perfectly [:P]

[:$]  Thanks.  After looking I see that there was an account listed.  I assumed the Mercury put it there but I must have.  If staff go into PMail and put a personal pop account into it will their info automatically get populated in MercD?  Or if staff isn't tech savvy can I put their personal pop info in here and it will automatically do pop checks and place the new mail in their account?
