Hello,
I'm running Merc/32 4.62. Everything has been working perfectly with my install. Recently, I added 4 new accounts via the manage user menu option in Merc/Loader. These accounts were no different than others I had created a while ago. I verified that the MAIL directories were created and that the PASSWD.PM file was there and they were.
My issue is when I try to access the accounts initially (for the very first time). I continually get either an invalid user or wrong password error even though I made sure they are correct. I have tried them from various clients (not Pegasus, tho') and even a Squirrelmail webserver.
My questions are: Any ideas what could be wrong? and Could it have something to do with accessing the accounts via IMAP (I haven't tried an initial logon via pop yet...).
I looked in the IMAP log and it shows me a "User password incorrect" error each time, even though it IS correct.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
