Cloning of a local user mailbox

Rolf,  thanks a million! That works pretty fine! You're my hero of the day! The file based forwarding wasn't activated - so I did and with the forwarding and deliver-also statements I got exactly what I want!

Best regards

Hi folks,

the situation: I collect different POP mail account into one local user account (say user1) and additional I have some filtering rules where I also copy messages of other users to the local user account user1. Everything works fine. Now I want to give user1 the possibility to check his email with his mobile device additionally (when he is in his office he fetches all of his email from user1 account to his PC without leaving a copy on mercury). I think this can be done easiest when I create another local user (say iPhone_user1). This account should have a complete clone of the the user1 mailbox. My question now: Is there an easy way to create a rule that every mail delivery to local user1 is als copied to iPhone_user1 or do I have to create all the rules created of user1 again for iphone_user1 (lot of work, as there are also other users that also want to check their emails mobile).

Best regards and many thanks in advance.

I would probably use file-based forwarding for this. Make sure you have it activated (Configuration / Mercury Core Module / Advanced /Allow file based forwarding...) and add the forwarding address in User details (with Deliver-Also set to Y).
