For some reason, I keep losing the INI file.  Mercury keeps crashing and wipes out the INI file.

5th time it's done this and I'm not sure why...yet.

Nope, MercuryD gets it all.  Since MercuryD is doing a server function, and all mail belongs to this server, there is nothing at all in the code of MercuryD that will allow this.
