Sv: News about v4.7

We're now a few who run beta 4 of 4.7 in production as a native windows service.

The speed of Mercury/32 is now extremely fast, with the multithreading processing power and no gui-interaction 4.7 beats the ... out of any other direct tcp-server I've ever tested.

Just wanted to let you all know, that the closed beta group has now received Mercury/32 v4.7 beta 1 for intial tests.

Among the news are:

  • Support for IMAP direct-connect SSL
  • Native Windows Service

As always the inital betas that the closed beta group receives do not go public.
First we test builds in closed environments, under different situations, operating systems, etc.

don't know, haven't gotten a chance to install or wade the what's new. Here in Sweden we're shifting the TLD from reseller business model to registry registrar this week, so I expect headaches for at least a week....

Any news on IMAP Filtering Support ??

Nothing new on the IMAP4 filtering from my review.  The filter action look identical to v4.62.

We're now at beta 4, among others this has been added:

*   You can now suppress short-term blacklisting on specified address

ranges in MercuryS, MercuryI and MercuryP: do this using a

connection control ACL entry. This will allow people using shared

addressing technologies to prevent all their users from being

locked out because of the actions of one.
