Mercury port problem

We can't help much with XAMPP issues, but try starting Mercury separately (from the Start menu or the Mercury.exe file) and see what happens. If there are any error messages in the console windows take a note of them and post them here. Make sure the Windows firewall and any other firewall software you may have (perhaps in your anti-virus software) doesn't block mail ports. If after that there still is no success we will need to see your mercury.ini file to find out if there are any obvious problems there.

I have then configurated the mercury/32
and defined eveything on the POP3S, POP3 C, SMTP. It works with my outlook express.
Then I restart my windows server machine again.
However, on the xampp control panel
I then click "Start" and then i go to xampp-portcheck. The pop3 and smtp and even IMAP was free.
I go to the services.msc and check the apache2.2 was started.
How come even i start the mercury and the pop3 and smtp was unable to start

And on my apache xampp control panel, I press start for Mercury
but on the cmd > xampp-portcheck
It only said , so where i seup the SMTP and POP3 with my ip,
My mercury was installed. Why SMTP and POP3 was free even
I started the mercury on the control panel

Mercury (SMTP) 25 free
Mercury (POP3) 110 free
Mercury (IMAP) 143 C:\Program Files\xampp\MercuryMail\mercury.exe

As i used windows 2003 server as well.

A POP3 server like Mercury Mail is not running or is blocked by a firewall!
