I tried and changed for Outlook SMTP server from Mercury.NLM (on NW 5.1) to Ipswitch IMail (all other route is same) and ... subject didn't disappear! See two part of headers, first sent via Ipswitch IMail and second one via MercuryS (NLM). <P>Hi again! One another problem I like to share! We use also Outlook (2003). It takes e-mail's from NW 5.1 Mercury NLM POP3 loaded and smtp is done also via Mercury on same NW 5.1. Then e-mail is routed to Mercury/32 box and from there out! Same box with M/32 takes e-mail's from outside line -- ASSP with ClamAV is also there and route it back to NW 5.1 Mercury NLM. I noticed that when is many times (I'm not sure how many) same e-mail replied/forwarded then at some point e-mail coming back wo subject! Probably because of a lot of header info. As this problem is really not so big problem I can't tell right now where subject is lost or when it is lost (ASSP is involved etc.), but may be someone can shed a light on this, I mean, probably I'm not the first one with this problem. <blockquote>As this problem is really not so big problem I can't tell right now where subject is lost or when it is lost (ASSP is involved etc.), but may be someone can shed a light on this, I mean, probably I'm not the first one with this problem.</blockquote>I'm positive that it's not Mercury.NLM since there has been no real changes to the program in years.  Also I doubt if it's the NW 5.1 and pretty much for the same reason.  I do suspect that it's something that can re-write the subject line like anti-spam software getting mixed up when processing the mail.  FWIW, I've never seen this problem at all with POPFile and SpamWall.
