Missing CNM files in Pegasus mail v4.02

Thank you for the quick reply!

I assume this means direct access and not IMAP4 or POP3.

Yes it is accessed directly through a mapped drive. (Drive F)

I assume that you mean the users mail directory on the server contains all of these files.

Yes the user's mail directory is on the server and mail files and folders are in his mail directory.

What does his mail client show when you hit Help | About Pegasus Mail | Info for the new mail directory.

I can not attch his email right now will try that later.

Weird problem here.

The Pegasus email folder is stored on a Windows 2003 R2 server.

Windows XP clients running Pegasus accesses the email on the  server through the  TCP network.

Today I was informed by my VP that all of his emails from March 4-March17 were missing from his New Mail folder in Pegasus.

He is the only with this problem.

Quite surprising because for five years we have had no problems with Pegasus.

Going behind the scene I looked at his mail folder on the server and surprise! I do see (CNM files and PMM PMI )mail dated march 4 to the 17th in the network drive mail folder.

However the Pegasus client does not show these emails on new mail folder in Pegasus.

No recent Pegasus changes were done. Windwos 2003 server is new and was installed on the 27th of feb 09.

Anyone come across this problem before. You help is graeatly appreciated.

Thank you

V4.02 is really old and you really should upgrade to v4.41 at least.

Is he using the Classic or Preview mode?

How is he sorting the new mail folder?

What do you see from your Pegasus Mail system when you run as this user?  attach the mailbox?
