I can send mail but can not receive mail

Thanks for your help so far

I've check and re check my router but I will check again as I am no expert, 'll do some searching online and check with my ISP to see if they are blocking port 25.

This will most likely take more than a day but I'll let you know how i get on

Again thanks

hi all

I am wondering if anyone had any idea or pointers for me

I have mercury/32 and after spending some time setting up it worked fine, I can send mail normally but I can not receive mail only locally.

If you have any clue as to where i should look first or any idea as to what the problem may be please let me know.

I've got a dynamic ip and a dyndns domain

This what I get when I try to send mail from Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoomail

Looks like you have delaying switched on by using Greywall.  The message should get through after a few minutes.

Put your hotmail/gmail addresses in the Greywall whitelist if you don't want them to be delayed.

Try the Graywall entry in the Configuration menu and then go to the 'Exclusions' tab.  I've got some addresses in the 'Exclude from processing' section at the bottom.

Try unchecking the box that says 'graylisting is enabled'

Well how have you set dyndns.org to receive your mail?  Do you have the mx pointing to your server?

just been on to dyndns, they say that dynamic dns don't need a MX record becouse post get sent to the domain

also I've just did an online test and got this response wondering if you could take a look:

No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 90.200.214.74:25

Your machine (or router) is refusing the connection. Check your firewall and/or NAT forwards.
