Haven't seen any similar behavior here, but here are a few things you can check:

- Make sure  the SCRATCH and QUEUE directories exist in your Mercury directory, and that Mercury has full access to them.

- If you have any real-time antivirus software running, exclude at least SCRATCH and QUEUE directories from scanning.

- Check that the MERCURY subfolder exists (..\MERCURY\MERCURY\) and contains the failure.mer file (error notification template). Mercury will need full access to this directory and the files in it as well.

Hello,

- I've successfully installed and setup my mercury/32 mailserver.
- I can send and receive messages on any configured email-accounts.
- and users can public subscribe to my mailinglist ... but:

1.) Users wont receive any welcome, farewell or confirmation messages
    -> On Errors Mercury Core Process Log show me: "Error creating temporary file for error notification."!
2.) Users wont receive any Newsletter-Message send to the corresponding
     Mailing-List-Account!
3.) Moderators are unable to send any Mailing-List Commands like add <user>
     effectly (commands will be ignored by system and no error message will
     be send out to predefined error-mailaccount!
