Switching from WinXP to Vista 64-bit

I definitely agree there.  As I said, my old computer died, so I did a fresh install, but I doubt you'll have any trouble copying over your folders.

I have a new laptop on the way with Vista 64-bit and REALLY hope my beloved Pegasus 441 is going to run properly.

Can I expect any particular problems when I install on Vista then transfer all my folders and such from XP?

My laptop came with V64 as well.  My old computer is still dead, but I installed a fresh copy of Pegasus Mail 4.41 and it runs fine.  (However, Vista is a PITA and getting more so with each 'upgrade'.)  There are a couple of caveats.  Vista refuses to recognize Pegasus as a "system mailer" is the largest, but it can mostly be worked around.  There are other threads on this board that go  into great detail on this problem, so I suggest you look around.  Search for "Vista" and you should find them.

Thanks for the response. I ran a search to begin with but not much came up.  Since posting however I spent a good deal of time going back thru the archives but didn't learn much.

I am not concerned about Pmail being my system mailer and I usually save links and paste them into Pmail manually anyway. Transfering all my folders successfully and simply having Pmail run properly is my major concern because I have NO wish to switch to a different email client..
