The error message is not from anything in PMail, it does not generate a runtime type error.
Oh, ok. Crashing is not a bug then. Not accessing my mail on an XP that works perfectly, with all other mail programs working perfectly, is not a Pmail problem. I imagine MS Windows must adapt to PMail...

Huh? The anti-virus software generally causes more problems than it ever solves. This is especially true where any sort of relational database system is involved. In addition, a virus in a PMail message is harmless unless the user does something real dumb like executing a virus loaded attachment. Even there most anti-virus software will not catch the early viruses and many do not catch the old ones either.
The only forum I know where anti-virus software is considered not desirable for e-mails...
Well, however, I suppose I should not argue and continue reading my serious book.
