Message Forwarding to Bypass the Queue

I take it then that when sending mail using another identity doesn't pick up these settings, that you have to actually be in the identity for it to work?

I take it then that when sending mail using another identity doesn't pick up these settings, that you have to actually be in the identity for it to work?

I have set up a Filter Rule that forwards a message to another email address based on certain words in the Subject Header.

But it only puts message in queue waiting to be sent. I have to manually press the button to send all queued mail.

How can I bypass the queue and forward these messages direct.

I want these messages to be forwarded when I'm not there to monitor them.

But I don't want to bypass the queue for any other mail I send, so I don't want to adjust the queue settings universally.

Thanks,

Martin

I would try using a different identity. The setting 'Internet options / Sending / Send mail at once without queuing' is identity specific. So if you change to the immediate send identity when you leave your machine, it should work as you want.

I haven't tried this and I don't know whether this will be a complete solution for your problem, but it's worth a shot.

Thanks Paul. Not quite the total solution I was looking for, but does the job. I just have to remember to swap identities each time and then back again.
