Believe me, whatever it is, it's for sure not coming from Pegasus Mail. And SmartUI is definetely not a standard Windoes component either. It may be simply coincidence that it now happens with the latest version of Pegasus Mail.

I've installed Pegasus 4.51 updating previous 4.50 pb1.

Sometimes, at the moment of reply a message, appears the following popup:

Title: SMART UI 32-bits Gateway error

Content: Can´t load SMART Utilities library (code 998). El acceso a la dirección de memoria no es válido.  [access to memory address is not valid]

Button: Aceptar [OK]

[The texts in brackets are mine]

The program works in normal way.

Configuration: Windows XP, 1GB RAM, intel Core2Duo

This error message for sure is not produced by Pegasus Mail itself. As far as I can say this error comes from the SmartUI application which comes with Brother printers.

No idea why SmartUI is failing, but a short search through the internet shows a lot of similar user experiences. It seems to me that the SmartUI application is less smart than the name suggests...

Thanks but there is no Brother printer driver or application installed, and the warning only appears when replying some messages in Pegasus Mail 4.51, not in previous version.
