It is update and that is the option I used.
The update renamed
pmail.usr to pmail.us_. I had not considered that a change as Vista did
not change either the last access or last modification dates (both of
which I have visible in explorer).
I doubt if PMail did this, I suspect that this is just another one of Vista's strange functions.The programming error looks like one of MS's since it does not happen with any version of XP and.or Linux with Wine.Once I renamed the file to
pmail.usr Pegasus started successfully as before the update. Would this
not be considered a "programming error"?
On a different subject,can I disable the splash screen about saved messages that now appears
at startup when there are msgs in the "drafts" folder, other than
deleting/moving those msgs?
These are the Autosaved messages and you can user File | Open saved messages and then either delete or process the Autosaved messages.
