Saved Message Titles stick in 4.62

My apologies for my misunderstanding and miscommunications.  A couple weeks ago I upgraded to 4.61 and I got nothing in "Details" when I saved a message.  I didn't realize that I had nothing in my "subject" or "to" fields and that it was actually my "title" that wasn't sticking.  When I upgraded to 4.62 I tried saving some messages and got the "subject" field (I don't usually save stationary with a "to" field) as the title which I was very happy to see and interpreted as success.  I've tested the problem as it is actually described in this thread and would like to confirm that "titles" still don't stick on saved stationary drafts in 4.62.[:(]   For me, I'm happy to have at least the "subject" field appear.  Actually, I'm satisfied with Pegasus as it is and I admire the developers efforts to improve it and make it better than it already is.  [:)]

Previously when saving a message as a draft, I've been able to give it a title which then appears in the list in the Draft Manager (as "Details").

Now, whatever I type when saving the message, the Details that appear in the Draft Manager are the "To" address and "Subject" line.

Have I changed an option somewhere that's doing this?

Cheers,

When you either click the "save"button or CTRL+S in the message editor (that is when you create, reply to or forward with editing a message) a pop-up window "save as draft" will show, in there you can set the name you want to have displayed and if you want it as stationary or one-time only save.

Han, I've tested this on an XP SP3 computer with Pmail V4.41 and on one with Pmail V4.51, and I'm afraid Pevans is right. In 4.51 you can change the title in the pop-up window all right but the changes won't stick. When you open the draft manager, you'll find that your changes to the title have not been saved. In 4.41, on the other hand, they are saved.

Cheers!

Confirmed, I will get it added to the everlasting long list of to-fix things.

It's not a new problem, this has already been reported several times (e.g. http://community.pmail.com/forums/thread/17988.aspx) and reported to David Harris.

Hi,  Thanks for a great program and for a really good forum.  I'd like to report that I am still having this 'no title' problem on Pegasus 4.61

I get saved message titles to stick consistently in 4.62 (win32)!  It appears solved.  Thanks to the development team.[:D]

I was excited to see this was fixed only to discover that it's not for me.  Changes I make to the titles of saved message do not stick (v4.62).  The default title comprised of To and Subject is what is listed in the open saved messages list.
