2 - If it crashes or I close it by mistake as it's sending an email, at next start Pegasus download all messages on the server, even message already downloaded. Therefore I've many duplicates.
Pegasus Mail only deletes messages on the server after sucessfully downloading (all of) them to stay on the safe side with regard to not loosing any. If it happens on sending messages: Do you do a POP3 before sending (this may be required for authentication, but I don't think it's a widespread method anymore) - otherwise I don't quite understand why this would happen?
Yes, I was using the Pop3 method, now I've turned it into a Smtp login. Let's see if that problem happens again...
3 - I've got a draft with no email address in the To field, just text in the body: the draft window looks exactly the same as the queue window thus I've selected and pressed send now on that email from the draft window. Strangely the draft disappeared and I've never found it again.
Maybe it wasn't saved as stationary but only as a simple saved message? When saving a message you are prompted by a dialog which offers you to explicitely save it as "stationary" which won't get deleted after re-using it.
Well, I've not saved as stationery, but I could see it between several sessions, a part when by mistake I've pressed sent.
4 - If on the server I've left many emails Pegasus becomes really slow checking the server for new messages.
Well, I guess this is unavoidable because of the nature of things ... unless there'd be some kind of caching like with IMAP.
I mean it becomes really slow: for example I don't notice the same gap with Thunderbird.
Another thing I'd like to see is having emails marked as junk automatically moved to the junk folder - dunno if it's already possible though.
How about creating a filter rule for doing so? Others may be able to provide the details, I don't use Pegasus Mail's built-in capabilities for this - and you should specify what you're referring to: Content control or Spamhalter?
I'm using Spamhalter, the idea of a rule for that could be nice, I'll give it a try.
Thank you Michael
