Pegasus do not close down

Thanx for answering, but I've "moved" my question and reply here:

(When I moved it it was too late to delete this entry... [:^)])

Hi

For the time being I'm a satisfied user of Pegasus Mail, thanx to everyone involved in helping the project! [:)]

Only a minor thing disturbs:  I often use Win XP's hibernating function (not waiting too long at the next pc start!) closing Pegasus before hibernating. When starting the pc next and starting Pegasus, it turns out that Pegasus is running twice!  (winpm-32.exe registered twice in the Processes, and a VERY slow respons when I write a letter in the address field, probably both processes want to "own" the address book)

How come that Pegasus do not close down?  How to avoid?

Regards,

Henrik

I am not terribly technical in this area, but I suspect that Pegasus Mail is not fully shutdown when you go into hibernate. After the Pegasus Mail window closes, it still has to close down SpamHalter and other extensions you might have been running, as well as deleting various temporary files (*.pm$) created during the session.  So give it 30 seconds or so before hibernating. In worst case, invoke Task Manager to check that the Pegasus Mail executable has gone from the process list, otherwise the existing task will be saved as part of the hibernation.
