Hello Michael,
I am running an AMD Sempron 2300+ CPU in this system and previously I had no startup problems when I upgraded to 4.51. The logo pops up for a few seconds then disappears with no explanation. Is this related to the dll file or something else?

According to The Chiplist it shouldn't be an issue, but if you aren't sure just try the plain Pentium compatible version - but if Pegasus Mail previously started without issues I doubt this is your problem, you would have definitely noticed before. It's probably the everlasting corrupt message in your new mail folder issue.
