I thought I knew PM after all these years but have a few questions about 4.51:
How do I place a graphic in the text box like everyone else does instead of only being able to attach?

You can do this using the "Insert a picture" button (the penultimate button) in the tool bar of the message editor.

And, I am getting SO many emails with graphics that are unreadable - and I mean IMPORTANT ones like from my bank, my airline sending ticket confirmations, lesser ones like my AARP notices, BBC program listings, on and on. Some of the text comes through but the most important parts come up as big blue boxes with nothing in them. I click View and sometimes I can get the html view but even that doesn't work most of the time. And yes, I have gone into Reader and tried all the choices..
Thanks in advance...

Right-click on the body of an email message and select "Show pictures (HTML only)". In the message folder, you can right-click the email and select "Add sender's address to..." and then "Allow remote graphics list" to instruct Pegasus to always show pictures from that sender.
Cheers!
