We are using Mercury 4.7
Are there any changes that can be made to the MERCURYP.CAC file to force the messages that are listed here to be downloaded again from the server folder where they reside? Surely, there must be some parameter change that will allow this? I tried to delete the file, but it gets recreated.
I have an issue where I was reading mail from work (via eudora with choicenail free 3.1) and home (via msn) and the email read from msn (set to leave mail on server) is NOT getting picked up at work. This used to work without a problem.
I tried copying messages from the folder for my email to another (new) user and then downloading from there, but I don't get the messages and a new mercuryp.cac file appears within the new user folder.
Not sure if this matters, but we DO have the daylight savings option selected...I read where changing that will cause all messages, still on the server, to be downloaded again...dont''t want to do that if not needed because of the potential negative impact on other users. Not sure if de-selecting it and then re-selecting it, would work anyway.
Please help...this is a pain in the butt!
