I have set up a sequence of Policies. These are:
1. Check, by source IOP address, if mail comes from any country except a defined set.
2. Check if the source IP address is blacklisted by a limited number of reliable DNSBLs.
3. Check if mail originates from a IP address source (within the allowed national list) which can be expected to send spam.
4. Clean-up any remaining messages that don't trigger any of the above policies.
The result of these Policies, when triggered, is to delete the message.
What I am not sure about is what Mercury does when, say, Policy 1 is triggered and the remaining Policies have still to be processed. Is there still a message in the queue for them to work on, or will it have been deleted as per Policy 1? If it is deleted, what happens to Policies 2,3, and 4.
Thank you
GordonM
