Change outgoing IP

Of course it is necessary. My server uses IPs from different /24

subnets, and my PTR record is for another IP then the one which is

using for outgoing message.

But the outbound IP address from any server just needs to have a PTR record assigned, what's wrong with assigning a PTR record to the ones that access the internet?

Hello PMail Community,

 somebody can tell me where I can change the outgoing IP for smtp server. Okay I can setup the Listener Interface IPs in the server console for incoming connection, but  I dont find any solution in the server console or in the manuel where to change the outgoing IP. My server uses more than one IP and the server only uses the main IP from my Network Interface for outgoing connection to destination smtp.

Kind Regards,

Mephisto

I assume that you are talking about MercuryC or MercuryE. In this case it is not possible since it is not necessary to specify the outbound IP address.  The setup of the TCP/IP on the system will show the outbound IP address for the system no matter how many NICs or IP addresses are setup on one card.
