I have a couple of small issues when working with Thunderbird as the mail client and I don't know whether they are client or server (Mercury 4.62) issues.  I am reminded of this, as I have just upgraded to TB 3.0 from TB 2.0.x.x, and these issues remain.  I am using IMAP4.

The first issue is that, when I create a new folder, it becomes unsubscribed after I exit and restart TB.  This only applies to recent new folders.  Older folders always remain subscribed.  It may be of no significance, but I noticed this issue appearing after I had subscribed to more than 255 folders.  Could it be that Mercury has a limit?  Although of not much relevance here, I suppose a similar question could be asked about TB.  This issue seems to be very consistent.

The second issue is that some messages that have been moved from the Inbox to a folder appear again in the Inbox, when TB is restarted.  This seems to happen randomly and could be either a Mercury or TB issue.

If anyone has experienced similar behavour, I would be pleased to hear about it (and any solutions!).

Thank you

Gordon
